Listen to Your Body and Read Your Energy

Did you make plans when you were full of energy and now as the time approaches you’re not? It’s ok to change your plans and in fact, it’s important to listen to your body and if your energy is telling you it feels like being internal, go and be internal.

Try to honor and prioritize what your body is telling you that it needs.

People-pleasing often makes us ignore and sacrifice our needs and yet ultimately that’s not going to be good for anyone or the relationship.

Energy is always changing and when we can be in the natural flow of it and intentionally ground our energy daily we can become in tune with it and take care of it in a loving way.

You can increase your energy flow through grounding, meditation, and consciously protecting it. Who you are around can also impact your energy. Being around toxic people or environments can drain it and being around loving, heart-centered people and environments can increase it. Even our loving and supportive Sensitive Empowerment community energy can increase it! I often send loving energy to you through the community and I hope you feel it. ❤️

Every day, get into the practice of lovingly checking in and asking yourself, how is my energy today? How does my body feel and what would it need today? Pause for a moment and ask yourself these questions. What did you discover?

  • It's certainly a balancing act when it comes to meeting the need to have alone time and sharing time with others. I've found that if we don't have this balance, even being around people who are kind, generous, and have the best of intentions can also be draining if their need for closeness is greater than our own.  Spending time alone and then coming back to these relationships helps to bring balance for everyone.

It reminds me to take a minute and check in with myself. THANK YOU for ALL that you do for us HSPs. I am currently taking one of our courses and when I think back to when I started, I am really much more centered, calmer, and happier.
