RSVP: Using SPIRE to Cultivate Self-Compassion and Increase Well-being for HSPs with Gracie King

To experience the greatest happiness and overall well-being, it helps to consider several essential elements of our being:

Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Relational, & Emotional. Altogether, they spell the word SPIRE, and this model acknowledges that body, mind, and spirit are deeply interconnected to impact overall well-being.

Using the SPIRE model as a framework for reviewing and evaluating our lives is a quick and easy way to regularly check in and notice which areas may need more attention. Because this model is holistic, it’s also useful in helping to maintain balance as we navigate life’s ups and downs. It’s important to understand that weaknesses in any area can have far-reaching impacts on how we do in other areas.

Practicing the SPIRE Check-In is a lovely form of self-care that infuses mindful self-compassion into every step, increasing resilience over time.

This tool can be used regularly to:

  • assess overall well-being,

  • identify areas needing attention, and

  • help achieve and maintain more balance.

The Sensitive Empowerment Community is pleased to invite you to an upcoming event with Gracie King, where she shares her adaptation of this positive psychology tool designed specifically for HSPs. The Event will be Monday, July 17 (10 am PDT). A recording will be available inside our community replay library if you miss the live event.

This is a free Event for Members of the Sensitive Empowerment Community. Not a member yet? Join Here

The first half of the event will be a teaching of the practice and will be recorded. The last half will be an open dialogue among participants around implementing this practice and will not be recorded.

TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS LIVE EVENT:

Please come prepared with one example of a challenge to your well-being that you're currently experiencing. You'll have an opportunity to share this with the rest of the group, if you wish to receive guidance on how you may use the SPIRE practice for your particular concern. However, speaking up and sharing something personal is not required; you're most welcome to just soak it all in and process it later on your own. 🥰

Gracie King has a background in psychology and counseling and is now on a mission as a Positive Psychology Wellness Coach to serve and lift up HSPs who've struggled with recurring depression and exhaustion, accompanying them on their journey toward healing, belonging, and thriving.
