Growing a Business to Support Our Creativity Guest Post by Andrea Weber
It was such a delight interviewing Eli Trier for the Sensitive Empowerment Community. There are so many of us who would love to support our creative talents while looking after ourselves as sensitive people and earning an income at the same time.
Eli is doing all of this with a grateful heart for the pure joy of creating. She has generously shared her insights and so many practical strategies that she’s discovered.
Elinor Trier is a contemporary artist and illustrator working in her dream rooftop studio in Copenhagen, creating colourful and vibrant works of art that she shares with the world.
As a highly sensitive artist with autism, Eli’s work often reflects in-depth emotional themes, and she openly shares how being neurodivergent impacts her work in both wonderful and challenging ways.
She has wholeheartedly embraced video as a media to share these beautiful creations and processes involved in her work. Eli’s studio tour (linked below) is a ‘must-see’ for anyone thinking about space and design for a studio.
Here’s what we cover in the interview:
How Eli came to start a business for her art?
How being neurodivergent influences her business and creativity?
Ways to look after your nervous system when creating and running the business.
Tips and hints for sounding more 'natural' and confident when making video.
Creating a studio and work environment that is efficient and an inspiration to work in.
Exploring the integral nature of business and marketing.
