Honor Your Intuition and Use it as Your Guide
HSPs have more activation in our Insula, giving us an extra level of conscious awareness and combined with stronger intuition, giving us additional information and a deeper understanding. Your body gives you intake within your intuition every day. Learning how to balance the sensitive nervous system, giving yourself daily alone time, time in nature, meditation, mindfulness, and slowing down are ways to tap into your intuition. It's also essential to protect your energy and practice boundaries around anyone that lowers your vibration. Being around others who support your gifts can help you connect more to yourself, too, one of the things I love most about my Sensitive Empowerment Community. Being together, normalizing, and validating our experiences enable us to harmonize and tune into ourselves more and more.
Intuitive healing energy can be powerful in HSPs. We have greater access to this intuition. Tuning into the body allows us to tune into our intuition. Quiet the mind, focus on the breath, and listen to your body every day. Are you sending loving energy to your body? Are you talking to your body with self-love? Are you taking care of your physical body with love? Are you moving your body and nourishing it in healthy ways? These are all conscious ways to open even more to our intuition.
If your body is tired, rest. Please don't ignore your body and its needs. Tune into your body. If your body needs something, pay attention, and prioritize that need. Teach your children, your clients, and your HSP friends to listen to and harmonize with their bodies too!
HSPs scoring high on the scale of sensitivity can be like sponges and take on the emotional and physical pain of others around you. Get clear if you are taking on pain of others and practice ways to separate your energy. We don't want our empathy to enter into or merge with another's pain, which is why it's crucial to separate and protect your energy and set boundaries. We don't help the world by taking on its pain. Breathe the pain out and separate, ground, and protect your energy.
