Paint Your Own Self-Love Reminders with Nicola Newman

In this workshop, Nicola Newman will guide you through a fun-filled process of painting, collage and abstract mark-making to produce your own gentle self-love reminder cards. Nicola is a professional artist, creative living mentor & business coach, It doesn’t take a lot of experience, so this process is perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike.
You are invited to use your choice of either water colour or acrylic paints (whatever you have available!). There is something so special about creating your own gentle self-love reminders to put up around your home or work space.
You can paint alongside Nicola during the video or you may choose to watch the process and then go through the activity and do this creative exercise in your own time and at your own pace.
MATERIALS LIST:
Water-colour paper pads A4 or A5 size (minimum 225gsm)
Water-colours or acrylics (an inexpensive set are fine)
Paint brushes (small & medium size are good)
1 x containers of water
Masking tape
Uni-Ball Eye Fine Rollerball Waterproof Pen or other fine black waterproof pen (optional)
Stick or twig
Paper towel or rags
Palette or ice cube tray for paints
"I like to encourage people to let go and have fun with it," she says. "There are no rules in abstract painting, so anything goes."
