Episode 185: Family Wellbeing: Decluttering & Designing a Life Where Everyone Can Thrive with Rebecca Jo-Rushdy
Listen Here
If you ever get the urge to declutter, you're probably like many others who go for it with full gusto and end up feeling fatigued and sometimes unwell afterwards.
In this enjoyable presentation, Rebecca shares her experiences and very useful and practical strategies for decluttering in a way that is calm and gentle on the nervous system and based around gratitude, self-compassion and energy management.
"Physical clutter can increase our anxiety and decrease productivity." It can create shame and overwhelm. Rebecca teaches how to declutter with joy and self-regulation when we learn to let go in a healthy way, create defined spaces for what we love and need, and cultivate healthy boundaries around purchasing habits.
Decluttering doesn't have to be a chore and can actually be a joyous activity with many rewards, including the creation of an environment that is kind and calm for everyone in the family.
